As Pedders Authorised Dealers for the South Coast, we
offer a full suspension service for road and performance
cars.  Pedders spring and shock absorber catalogue is
extensive, and very well engineered.  This, along with
other Pedders  products, our workshop facilities and experience, means we get good improvements in handling for our road car customers.  We can prove this
every day, because we have arguably the best "black dyno" of any suspension shop in the country right outside
our front door - a really testing few kms of the Pacific Highway.

Of course, performance suspensions on road cars are not
optimised for the race track.  What we are aiming (and testing) for on the road is vehicle response and stability.
(Stability in vehicle dynamics refers to the ability of the car to self correct for external disturbances without input from the driver.)  The driver finds the car easier, less tiring and more fun to drive.

With a racing car, we are interested in the top end of the performance envelope.   At our workshop, we have computer facilities for the design of springs and anti-roll bars, corner weight scaling, accurate 4 wheel wheel alignment, and full analysis of suspension geometry.  We
can recommend springs, anti-roll bars and shocks.
Our approach is to look for strengths and weaknesses in the current design/baseline set-up, design/propose modifications and then plan testing with the race team.
