Hey, my name is Chris Garbacz. I am a passionate Melbourne based Photographer who has created a reputation for my professionalism, unique creative style and dramatic digital retouching. What makes me unique is my ability to specialize in a range of photographic genres including Portraiture, Fashion, Advertising and Wedding Photography. This consistently proves my ability to stay versatile and flexible, especially in lighting management, innovative camera angles and producing emotionally engaging pictures. My credentials are boosted by a University degree in Multimedia Design and Digital Arts which exposed me to a wide range of design fields. Although I have worked in Graphic Design, Web Design, 3d Animation, Video Production and Retouching, I am now fueling my insatiability with a strong passion for photography and a desire to create amazing emotional images. I learned the fundamentals and the tricks of the trade by working with an award winning Wedding Photography Studio. But, it wasn't until I became exposed to Advertising, Commercial and Portraiture that I really became a fun loving and truly inspired photographer. Capturing stunning images has become my hobby, my favorite pastime and a profession that gets me jumping out of bed every morning! I currently have an exhibition touring Victoria called ‘Look at Me’ that focuses on the diversity and pride of young people with disabilities. It has gained exposure in The Age, the ABC, Federation Square and other newspapers and websites. After working in the industry for 3 years I decided to combine all my skills and styles together to create CGI Studios, an exciting photographic experience.
